Selling to Europe from outside the EU

EPRGo is built for destination compliance. A merchant in Zürich, Manchester, Austin or Shenzhen can have the same German or Spanish packaging duties as a merchant in Hamburg — if those markets are supplied directly.

Establishment is not the same as destination

Many national rules look at who first makes packaged products available to end users in that country. If you ship from outside the EU, you may still be the producer there. That is why EPRGo does not speak as if only EU-incorporated companies can use the product.

What usually appears first

• An authorised representative in the destination country
• A national producer registration
• Scheme or SCRAP membership
• Marketplace questions about your registration number
